Rich snippets, also known as structured data or schema.org markup, are a free email lists uk way to help Google search engine crawlers understand the type of content we publish.

Thanks to the use of tags, robots are able to analyze our website and the content published on it more quickly, and additionally, based on them, they will display further information in search results. The year 2011 can be called a breakthrough in the understanding of indexed data by Google search engine algorithms. This year, the schema.org project was launched by the largest Internet search engines, such as Google, Yahoo! and Bing. With a slight delay, a few months later, the Russian search engine Yandex joined the group, establishing together the standards of structured data tags, which they will jointly handle. Since then, new tags have been constantly appearing, which were adapted to a given type of content, such as content, video and audio, which are published on many websites and in many online stores, e.g. for presenting podcasts or products that are sold.
