The Dutch are the most active users of social media in Europe . Many insights can be gained from our social media data. However, I think that more is possible than just analyzing afterwards. That is why I want to use social analytics to try to predict who the big winners of the Televizier gala 2013 will be.
Like every year, this big event takes place in October. At the gala, the Golden Televizier Ring is awarded to the best Dutch television program of the past year. The best man, woman, best talent and youth program are also rewarded with a Televizier award.
Using our social media monitoring tool, I make a prediction of the qatar mobile phone number list winners at the Televizier gala 2013. I looked at all the nominees and the volume of and sentiment around these messages. I also analyzed how many messages around the nominees are associated with winning at the Televizier gala.
Nominees for the coveted golden Televizier-Ring are ' Divorce ', ' Flikken Maastricht ' and ' Wie is de Mol '. The latter has been nominated for the sixth time and now hopes to finally win. However, it will be a tough battle with ' Flikken Maastricht '. The general volume was very close until last week and the two also did not differ much in sentiment.
However, in the run-up to the Televizier gala, several candidates for the upcoming season of 'Who is the Mole' have been announced. This has clearly generated extra publicity, which has increased the chance that 'Who is the Mole' will win. 'Who is the Mole' has, where a sentiment can be attributed, 90% positive versus 10% negative. For 'Flikken Maastricht' this is 87% positive and 13% negative.

'Wie is de Mol' seems to have the advantage here, but if you look at the social media updates about the various programs in combination with 'win', 'Flikken Maastricht' emerges as the clear frontrunner. 50% of the Twitter users think that the police show will win. 30% think that of 'Wie is de Mol' and 20% hope that the victory goes to Divorce.
