Work is a place where we enter with some obligations and leave with a few more. Does it motivate us? Of course. Does it satisfy certain concerns? Of course. But it also demands a loyalty that is sometimes difficult to maintain. Because of this and the needs of the job itself, it sometimes causes tensions that affect performance and that we must resolve with imaginative solutions.
These imaginative solutions can be grouped under the same word: fun. In fact, work and fun are not like water and oil, or at least they shouldn't be. There are strategies that can liven up work obligations and turn the office into a more exciting place. A place where we can combine vocation and fun so that at the end of the day, after the corresponding eight hours, we don't ask ourselves: what am I doing here?
1. Promote camaraderie. This is essential, creating an environment of well-matched workers. It helps to promote better communication, increase performance and productivity (they will help each other by sharing tasks and knowledge), and also helps to create an atmosphere in which smiles do not end up being a joke.

5. Celebrations are important. Small company achievements are often overlooked and attention is focused on things that are not going so well. This is unfair and deeply discouraging. A company should find a way to recognize the achievements of its employees and even celebrate them, in its own way, with rewards or public recognition. 6. Mealtime. If you work split shifts, mealtime is the perfect time to relax and discuss trivial matters that are difficult to discuss in the hustle and bustle of work. It is not a question of forcing people to eat together, but if they do so of their own free will, taking care of that time and fostering pleasant relationships will also contribute to the goal of having fun.
7. Team Building. Get the team out of the office, let them breathe, and interact in circumstances outside of their daily routine. Team building exercises help the different members of the team appreciate the value of their colleagues in tasks they are not used to doing. It will help them to have fun together: sometimes you have to learn that too.
