Second time's a charm - Grzegorz's story
TALENT DAYS: Hello Grzegorz! So we can get to know you better, tell us about your vision for the future when you started looking for a job?
GRZEGORZ : When it comes to this vision, I was looking for a job while I was still studying, to combine both of these things right away. Ultimately, after my studies, I wanted to go abroad, so I tried to find out what companies on the market could offer this. This was also the reason why I decided to visit the job fair in Wrocław - that's when I met LKW WALTER. Krzysztof showed me the possibility of going abroad and presented the entire offer, but it wasn't time to leave yet. When I started my master's degree and the pandemic came, I knew that this was the moment. That's why I took part in another fair, this time in Katowice , and met this company again. At that time, I was already thinking about them specifically, I submitted an application and got a job, which is why I am where I am!
TALENT DAYS: You have participated in the fair twice, how did you find out about it? What were your impressions?
GRZEGORZ : I found out about the fairs thanks to my university. The University of Economics in Wrocław is a place where so much is happening, there is so much information, and it just so happened that I found out about this event from a poster. It was the first such large fair that I took part in. Earlier, in my high school days, I took part in smaller events of this type, and Talent Days is a real fair. They are very well organized, each company has its own stands, the organization, the size of the fair and the approach to these people was great, because you could feel that they wanted to work with us, to meet these students. At one fair that I took part in, it was raining and one company had umbrellas as gadgets - how prepared you have to be!
