Is your reader worth it?

Post by Mitu100@ »

Sometimes readers pluck up the courage and ask you if you could read their latest blog post.

This is rare, but it does happen.

How do you react to this?

Are you ignoring it?

Do you postpone it to the “I’ll do it later” island?

If you care about your reader, then you should read the article or at least skim it and more importantly:

Comment on his work.

You show your reader that he is cayman islands telegram screening worth your time.

Or if you don't have time, at least reply: "Thanks for your email. Unfortunately, I don't have time to read your text. But don't let that stop you from pursuing your dream. There are enough people out there who will read and love your stuff."

Here is the hard truth:

You are not the only person being read.

And that's a good thing.

Your reader probably has another “role model” who is also your role model. Or there is an industry legend who inspires both of you.

Then talk about it. Tell us about your teachers and mentors. That says a lot about you too.

Not only does it confirm your authority, but it also connects you even more with your reader.

Even if a common enemy brings you and your readers together, a mutual friend is sometimes better.
