- Mark, do you have anything to please you?

— Who knew they wouldn't be home?

- Who? Post office, public utilities. Milk delivery people. Who knows?

- Now find out who it is. And then come again.

A week has passed.

- Johann, in both cases the common thing was the post office. That's where they always know who left and for how long. Moreover, the management of the post offices, on the instructions of their superiors (just don't ask why), exchanges this information with their server in the capital.

- Thank you!

- Mark, we need to sort out the mail. Or rather, their data collection service. Either there is a leak and the service was hacked, or one of its administrators is very "smart" and is trading information.

- Got it, boss!

Another week passed.

— I'm sure it is. Firstly, oddly enouWhy it would be a mistake to rely entirely on cloud providers for data protection

A Veritas study found that 69% of organizations mistakenly believe that responsibility for protecting data, maintaining privacy, and complying with regulatory requirements lies entirely with the cloud service provider.

It turns out that when outsourcing their business data to cloud services, most companies mistakenly rely entirely on the service provider's data management services, although they should be monitoring them themselves.

On October 25, Veritas Technologies, a maker of storage systems and data management software, released the results of a global study covering 13 countries that showed that 69% of organizations incorrectly believe that responsibility for data protection, privacy, and compliance lies with the cloud service provider.

While cloud storage and computing providers act as temporary caretakers of corporate data warehouses and often secure their own systems, the data owners remain their customers, who must take care of data protection and compliance monitoring themselves. Especially when workloads migrate from their own premises to the cloud and back.

The study also found that the majority of global companies (56%) now operate under a “cloud-first” approach when it comes to deploying new applications and managing workloads. This is a kenya mobile database reversal of thinking compared to just a few years ago, when in-house software development played a leading role.

Now everyone is heading for the clouds
gh, the service is made conscientiously and it is difficult to steal anything from there even for our guys. But there is one thing. Our financial specialists found out that the head of the IT department clearly lives beyond his means. We took a closer look. I think he is one of the organizers of the "shelters" system. He regularly leaks information about the addresses of "abandoned" houses. And none of them are in the capital. They are all in the provinces.

- It's already interesting. Don't you think it's time to invite him "for a chat".

- Our specialists are already talking to him. Call Willie.

Do you always talk about where you are going and for how long? Is it worth it? Think about it!
