Certainly a huge topic, especially for teachers. With the ability to generate large amounts of text very quickly, how are you supposed to know whether the text was really written or whether the topic was even considered? Certainly a huge topic and the first bans on ChatGPT in schools show that we are heading for a tricky situation here.

Can ChatGPT texts be recognized?
It depends. Many of the tools tested here recognize English paraguay number dataset texts very reliably. When it comes to German content, humans are often considered the author. Many of the free tools filter out AI content quite well. Providers like Google will work much more extensively here, but they definitely have difficulty reliably recognizing and evaluating these texts. In this article, I would like to show which tools are currently available on the market and which tools recognize my texts.

A similar overview on the topic is provided by Kai Spriestersbach.
11 different tools for AI text recognition
In order to give myself (and you) an insight, I spared no expense and effort and looked at eight different tools for recognizing AI text and tested them with two examples.

Which texts did I test?
To find out for myself how well the tools for recognizing AI texts work, I had ChatGPT create a German and English text with a definition of SEO and inserted it into the tools below without making any changes. You can see the texts in the screenshot.
