There are a limited number of working hours in a day. That is why we use detailing, to consciously use time cycles. Usually, in web development, a cycle takes a working week. At the beginning of the week, at a planning meeting, we look at what part of the "elephant" we have "eaten" and start a new cycle.
When we break the "elephant" into tasks, we arrange tasks within a time weekly cycle. In Jira , we see who is doing what this week. At the same time, a person does not have to do tasks according to the list, but choose the nearest and most important tasks from the existing ones. You can simultaneously do several tasks in parts, and the program will show the progress for each task.

As a result, all epic tasks are detailed down to the task level, all tasks are assigned to performers, and the timeline shows who does what on what week and day.
If you don't have a large flow of tasks, you can monitor benin consumer email list project management even in Excel or through Google Sheet. But keep the methodology: break tasks into smaller ones, set the status of completion and indicate those responsible.

How to set tasks in Jira
Break down the main tasks into the most detailed subtasks.
Assign people to basic and detailed tasks.
Assign an estimated time to each task.
Note the actual time spent on each task.
Don't forget to allow time for the testing phase.
State the task clearly
How to come up with convenient and useful task names? The name of a good task answers the question "what to do". "Layout the "About the company" page", "Write text for the "About us" page", "Show the client the animation of the X buttons". The correct task name describes not the process, but the result: not "Think about speeding up the site", but "Speed up the site to 90 points on Google Page Speed". The result of completing the task is measurable and expressed either in numbers or in specific actions.
