TikTok has become one of the most popular social networks in recent years and to achieve this, it not only required an innovative format, but also a team behind it. Shou Zi Chew has been the CEO of TikTok since 2021 and has become a benchmark in the digital sector that has had to face various legal processes related to this social network, such as the one undertaken by the United States Congress.

Shou Zi Chew , born on 1 January 1983 in Singapore , comes from a background where his father worked in construction and his mother was an accountant. After graduating from Hwa azerbaijan number data Chong Institution, Chew served his National Service in the Singapore Armed Forces before continuing his studies at University College London , where he earned a BA in Economics in 2006. He subsequently completed an MBA at Harvard Business School in 2010, where he also interned at Facebook before the company took the plunge.
Chew’s career took off when he joined Goldman Sachs in London as a banker for two years before joining DST Global , a venture capital firm run by Yuri Milner. At DST Global, Chew led key investments in companies including JD.com, Alibaba , and Xiaomi, as well as being an early investor in ByteDance in 2013. Later in 2015, he joined Xiaomi as CFO and was subsequently promoted to President of Foreign Business in 2019.
On a personal level, Chew is married to Vivian Kao, with whom he has three children, and resides in Singapore.
