Post by pappu6329 »

Do you own a hotel? This article on hotel industry trends will be of interest to you. I am not a fortune teller, but I have recently been researching the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry in particular, through public studies, and I believe I have detected some trends in the hotel industry and especially in marketing strategies, which can work and help you achieve greater profitability in your hotel. I want to share them with you in case they can be useful to you. As I said, I have read and drawn these conclusions from various reports, including the 2015/2016 ITB World Travel Trends Report. (ITB Berlin is the leading trade fair for the global tourism industry and takes place every year at the Berlin fair). This report covers the main trends in demand for outbound travel during 2015 and the forecasts for 2016 and up to 2020, and it has served to confirm some trends that we already began to detect in 2015 here in Spain.

We have also consulted and analyzed the report "Tourism expectations 2016" by the firm Deloitte and based on them we have drawn up some conclusions that I will now make available to you in this part of the article or in the following ones that we will publish.

The hotel industry faces the crisis.
Military conflicts and their effect on the global economy have been one bolivia telegram lead of the biggest changes in recent years.
Despite the tumultuous socio-political and economic landscape that defined 2015 and 2016, global travel trends have continued to rise. According to the ITB World Report 2015/2016, outbound travel trends grew by almost 5%. Even more remarkable is the fact that spending per day increased by almost the same amount; exceeding the 2014 growth rate by 200%.

Paradoxically, travel is growing amidst the current global adversity.

Trivago data tells us where that money is going and it is nowhere else but…

The data shows that travelers around the world are looking for the same things: 4- and 5-star hotels with good to excellent reputations . “Cheap hotels” didn’t even appear in the top 10 traveler search queries in the spring of 2015.
