Uploading data from CoMagic using myBI Connect

In this article, we will tell you about data upload using myBI Connect from the end-to-end analytics service CoMagic (UIS). We will go through all the setup steps and show you the data structure that you can use yourself.

The myBI Connect service is designed to automatically telegram database search upload data from various online sources to cloud storage and update it daily. At the same time, the data in the storage is presented in a convenient form for subsequent independent work with them. This allows the user to take full control of the data, assemble a single data model from various sources like a constructor, and then build reporting according to their rules and laws. After registering with the service and creating a project, you can start uploading data.

There are currently several ways to obtain data using myBI Connect:

basic unloading,
uploading custom reports,
using webhooks.
Now we will look at the basic unloading, and in the following materials we will talk about the features of the other options and working with this data.

So, first of all, you need to get a key to access the API to the CoMagic service (the service uses the Data API ).

This is done at the user level in the admin menu.


Here you can: select the access type and activate the use of the key (1), select the key lifetime (we recommend choosing permanent) (2), generate the key (3).

Next, you need to open access to the key, which is closed by default. To do this, you need to specify the IP address of the host from which the request for data is made (the addresses of our servers where the data is processed: 40.115.109.79 and 23.100.57.136). To do this, go to the administrator menu,


then go to the "Security Rules and Settings" section (1) to the "API" tab (2) and click on the "+ Add" button (3). Then enter the IP (4), description (5) and save (6).


It is also possible to open access to everyone by writing “0.0.0.0/0” in place of IP (7).

It is worth noting that the ability to make requests to the API is available with the Optimum tariff or the Start tariff, provided that you connect an additional package (500 rubles).

The second step will be to set up the unloading in the myBI Connect service itself.

To do this, in the “Data sources” section, click on the “Add new +” button, then in the “Other” tab, select “CoMagic” and click “Connect”.
