What conditions does an innovation ecosystem require?
Having founded or participated in the creation of more than ten technology and Saudi Arabia Mobile Database innovation companies in Mexico and other countries, I believe that there are three essential elements for the development of this type of venture: creative professionals, motivated entrepreneurs and access to venture capital or financing.

Creative professionals
In recent decades, Mexico has focused primarily on industrial production and maquila. The problem with this approach is that it depends on cheap labor, so many professionals do not find adequate compensation. This results in us being the third largest exporter of professionals in the world. To date, more than a million professionals who studied in Mexico live abroad. Enthusiastic professionals who have left in search of better horizons, better incomes and suitable environments where they can develop their ideas. This terrible situation cannot but provoke a sense of urgency in us as we cannot retain talent, which is the main ingredient of innovation.
