The program
Cristian Rennella, co-founder and CEO of elMejorTrato.com, a credit and insurance broker with clients in South America and Mexico, noticed that many of his employees were carrying the same burden: personal debt.

"We noticed that it was far more than just isolated cases," says Rennella. "It really affected our workforce and their work."

Five years ago, he decided to do something about it with a new financial independence program. The company pays off the debts of employees who have worked for elMejorTrato.com for at least a year and whose debts existed when they started working, and then deducts a certain amount from the employee's salary every month, without interest.
