For the Capterra shortlist, providers are evaluated on two levels: user ratings and popularity.
The rating component is plotted on the x-axis and takes into account the overall rating of products based on user reviews written in the last 24 months. Users rate products on a scale of 1 star (lowest rating) to 5 stars (highest rating).
The popularity component is plotted on the Y-axis and takes into account the average monthly search volume for a standardized set of keywords for each product, derived via a proprietary search methodology, as well as the positioning of the vendor's domain on the search engine results page (SERP) for each keyword. This local traffic data serves as a measure of user interest and relevance, from which the popularity of a product can be derived.
Each score (ratings and popularity) is weighted and scaled to a value between 1 and 50.
Data sources include approved user reviews, public data sources, and data from software vendors. For more information, see Capterra's Community Guidelines .
Our Capterra shortlists use data from a defined period of time and represent a snapshot in time. Therefore, the shortlists should be used together with the detailed and current information found on the respective product profile pages in order to obtain the most up-to-date overview of the data.
inclusion criteria
The product has received at least 20 individual user reviews published within israel telegram data 24 months of starting the shortlist research process. The two years of reviews are a sample that we consider to be sufficiently large and recent to be meaningful for buyers, while at the same time this criterion is set low enough to also represent new providers.
The product has been proven to provide the required functionality; this is demonstrated in publicly available sources such as the provider's website.
The product must be available, used, and have received reviews in the local software market.
The product must be available in the local language.
The product is relevant to software buyers from different industries or sectors, i.e. not a "niche solution" aimed exclusively at a specific type of user. This is determined through our analysis of user reviews and/or market research.
The product achieves a minimum normalized overall rating of user reviews after applying the Capterra shortlist method for normalizing and weighting the recency of reviews (see description in the Scoring section).
The product reaches a minimum level of popularity.
scoring
The final score for a product is determined as follows:
Scores for the Ratings dimension are calculated based on the average overall user rating.
The average product ratings are normalized according to their recency and the number of ratings.
The scores for each dimension are scaled to a maximum of 50.
Products are represented, included and/or scored solely based on user reviews and popularity data, independent of any relationships between Capterra and vendors.
