Cisco has a strategy for technical support of hybrid collaboration. Please tell us about it.
of the changes taking place in collaboration, our company held a conference in early June called Hybrid Work. Made Real, dedicated to organizing effective and secure hybrid work. It also discussed how Cisco is implementing a strategy for technical support of hybrid collaboration through the development of its Webex platform, which combines relevant products and solutions. By the way, a new platform logo was presented at the conference.
Cisco's strategy is guided by five criteria: ensuring equal opportunities for each employee, regardless of the method of connecting to the communication process with colleagues; adaptability to any connection option and the employee's role in the communication process; eliminating negative impact on the health of lithuania mobile database and comfort in the communication process; ensuring cybersecurity when exchanging information; ease of administration of technical support for the collaboration process.
What technical changes has the Webex platform undergone recently?
Over the months of the pandemic, Cisco has significantly improved the capabilities of the Webex platform, the demand for which has been growing non-linearly lately. Thus, audio interruptions were eliminated when working in overloaded networks and poor communication channels; high-quality voice is now provided even with the loss of half of the traffic packets. To optimize voice transmission, technologies previously used for video transmission are used: dropped packets are restored; errors are corrected; work with the jitter buffer is optimized. Thanks to machine learning, Webex platform software clients have learned to automatically determine the nature of the content being transmitted and adapt the transmission technology, guided by this nature, in order to ensure the best communication quality.
