The switch to SAP S/4HANA – sooner or later, no company will be able to avoid it. We have developed a process model that shows how the successful transformation to S/4HANA can be carried out in a professional, structured and understandable way for everyone involved: the adesso active transformation. Behind this lies a hybrid process model for the transformation of IT systems and landscapes. As an SAP Gold Partner, we work very closely with SAP and have based our model on SAP's activate model. With our active transformation, we want to bring a common thread into the transformation – from strategic planning and organizational enablement to detailed planning and implementation. To this end, we have defined six phases with which we approach the switch to S/4HANA step by step. I would like to introduce these six phases to you in this blog post and thus give you an insight into our process model.
Phase 1: Enterprise Discover
The first step for us is to prepare the customer for the lebanon consumer email list transformation. Not in a technical sense, but rather to sharpen their senses: What is in store for you? What options do you have when switching to S/4HANA? But it's not just you who should get the best possible overview. We also want to know exactly what conditions we will find and which approach is most suitable: Greenfield, Brownfield or hybrid? I have already written a blog post about this.
Within the transformation, we work with four streams: organization and project management, technology, business and change management. The streams make the projects clearer and bring order to the processes. At the same time, they form the core activities of each project. The streams also serve to provide a better understanding of complex projects such as software implementation or transformation. When it comes to change management, I would like to refer you to my colleague Heike Willkomm . She and her team offer great and helpful training courses and workshops for our customers that show how change can succeed in a company so that everyone involved feels comfortable.
The Enterprise Discover phase is therefore the starting signal for the transformation and defines the most important framework conditions. This phase usually lasts three to six weeks, so it is quite short and characterized by workshops. The goal of this phase: clear project premises and a mutual update on the current status of the company's IT.
Phase 2: Prepare
In the Prepare phase, we define the transformation path together with you. This means that we create a roadmap that we will use as a guide in the coming weeks and months - the common thread of the transformation.
