Push notifications surpass TV commercials

Smartphones receive information from various shops and news sites, but how do users receive information?
In a recent survey of 1,000 Internet users aged 12 to 49, the most common answer was "push notifications" from apps at 42%, surpassing "newsletter and email notifications" at 27.5%.


In particular, the rate of push notification reception among teenagers was much higher than other age groups, and we found that the younger the generation, the more likely they are to use apps.

TV commercials are the best way to acquire new customers, but apps are the easiest way to communicate with existing users.
The biggest difference between TV commercials and apps is that push notifications can be personalized.
The key to success in the future will be whether or not you can meet user expectations, such as the content, time, and frequency of delivery.
