Most advertising SMS are quite formulaic and not particularly original. But there are bright solutions – some even went down in history due to the excellent results of advertising campaigns and the ingenuity of marketers.

In 2013, the KFC chain decided to increase sales and launched a geolocation-based SMS campaign in 44 Russian cities. Thanks to local targeting, marketers managed to catch potential customers who went online from a tablet, smartphone or desktop within a radius of 5 km around the restaurant.
Potential buyers saw a banner for issuing a discount hong kong b2b leads coupon. Customers also received an SMS with a code word for issuing a discount. The special offer could be used at the nearest restaurant.
Result
Just a month – and 11 million people learned about the restaurants of the chain nearby. More than 100 thousand issued a coupon and took advantage of the discount.
