A new year feels like a clean bed. Let's not smear the creaking linen with ugly design and annoying functionalities. I'm done with a number of things. I know that customers ask for them. And that some clients insist on them. But I'm going to do my utmost to get the following ten things out of the world in the coming year.
1. Dropshadow
Once we were introduced to the drop shadow in Photoshop. That made egypt mobile phone number list quite an impression. Bam. The screen got a third dimension. The virtual became tangible. In no time all letters, images and frames had a shadow edge. Until flat design made its entrance. Then it was no longer allowed. And it is better this way. We can be sure that the drop shadow will remain taboo until the end of 2016.

2. Glossy icon
Icons that shine at you, logos that look like jelly: in times of crisis and flat simplicity, it's no longer possible. Flatten those icons! Left is out, right is in.
