Back in the 90s we hummed Spice Girls songs all the time , we suffered a lot taking care of our Tamagotchi, we had fun with our friends in the arcades and it didn't seem strange to us to make phone calls from the now almost extinct telephone booths.

Remembering the 90s inevitably makes us nostalgic , and there is a whole plethora of things that we liked from that sadly long gone era.

Perhaps one of the best things about the 90s is that Facebook and company didn't exist to steal our valuable time (and simultaneously undermine our self-esteem and confront us with "fake news").

But what if Facebook and other apps that we can't look away from today number database had existed in the 90s? It's clear that for purely technological reasons they would be very different from how we know them today. What would their "look & feel" be like then?

Recruitment firm Computer Futures has put its imagination into the matter and has redesigned Facebook, Tinder, TikTok, Microsoft Teams and Amazon Prime Video (those apps that have become our inseparable companions during the pandemic) in a 90s style.

Adapted to the style of the 90s, TikTok, for example, takes the form of a video camera (whose size was definitely not as compact as it is today), while Amazon Prime Video becomes a sort of portable television and Microsoft Teams becomes a fax machine.
