Create a new tag of type "HTML" - In GTM, click "Add new tag" and select its type as "HTML". Then paste the Cookiebot integration code, which you can find in your Cookiebot panel, into the tag. This code is responsible for managing cookies according to user preferences.
3. Configure the trigger – To properly configure the trigger for Cookiebot:
Select the "Page View" option to have the code activated on every botim database page loaded.
Make sure the trigger is set to “All Pages” to ensure the cookie banner works fully across the entire site.
If you use custom rules, you can tailor the trigger to specific subpages or conditions, but keep in mind that when integrating Cookiebot, the most common option is the general site-wide option.
