The Big Data context increases the potential of companies, taking advantage of the use of new technologies and tools that are increasingly important for the analysis of the inexhaustible sources of information that are available today, bringing with them knowledge, new perspectives and opportunities to win in an increasingly competitive market.

Francisco Bernal is General Manager of Teradata Mexico.Today, technology allows and forces us to work collaboratively with increasingly diverse profiles of people. A few years ago, a systems team was made up of engineers who developed software using different programming languages. With the arrival of graphical interfaces, we had to acknowledge a branch of computing that Australia Mobile Database we didn't give much credit to: design, and with that we had to start living with people who made a living from aesthetics. We were no longer talking about different programming languages, but about different ways of seeing the same thing. On a screen where an engineer sees data, a designer sees pixels.
For example, in a project I was working on a few years ago, we found that some data was wrong and I wanted to validate the error with someone on the design team. But when I said to him: “Tadeo, look: this is wrong, isn’t it?”, his response was: “Yes! It’s two pixels to the right!” At that moment I realized that we saw the world from totally different perspectives. In the long run this is good because it enriches us, but at the beginning it is not easy to achieve this collaboration. If we add to this new technologies and the well-known pressure from the end client, the equation becomes even more complicated, especially in large organizations.
