What is HDR?

Simply put, HDR is a content processing method that promises to deliver more impressive picture quality than older-generation broadcast signals. HDR enhances the color and contrast of a frame, improving overall picture quality.

Content created in HDR format contains more taiwan telegram data data than SDR content and is therefore capable of displaying a wider range of colors and greater contrast between dark and bright areas of a frame. Such content is typically created in a way that takes advantage of the wide color gamut, high contrast, and bright highlights to bring together vibrant video footage on screen.

One important thing to keep in mind here is that HDR requires support from both the TV and the content created with HDR. Fortunately, both are widely available today: streaming services, as well as gaming consoles like PlayStation and Xbox, support HDR.
