3 everyday dialogues in French (Volume 3)

Hi! We know you like listening to dialogues, authentic conversations between native speakers. And today, my wife Céline and I offer you three everyday dialogues.
Hello and welcome to this new video. So today, it's volume 3 of the authentic discussions between Céline, my wife, and me. Those who have been following Français Authentique for a very long time will recognize the characters, Audrey and Jean-Luc, that I had imagined at the very beginning of Français Authentique, in 2011. So today, we offer you three everyday dialogues that appear within the couple, between Audrey and Jean-Luc. We're going to talk to you about cinema, sports and the passing of time, about children growing up.
For each dialogue, you will have the dialogue between Céline and me, and for each of the dialogues, I will explain the vocabulary to you, which you may not have understood. This is ideal for you to test your understanding. You can use the subtitles or not, it's up to you. This will allow you to discover vocabulary in context and you will be able to hear authentic French as it is spoken by French speakers on a daily basis.

To do something on purpose means to do something in a voluntary manner. The opposite is to not do it on purpose, when you do something without intending to.
Getting the tissues ready indicates that the movie is going to be sad. When something is sad, you might get tears, you might start crying a little bit and so you need tissues to wipe your eyes or blow your nose. So you get the tissues ready in anticipation of a movie that is going to be sad.
A chase is very often a race between criminals and police officers. So the police officers chase the criminals. It can be on foot, but often it is also in a car. It is a chase. We see this type of scene in action films.
