Anyone can be cold - professional and distant too. But we bloggers are different: we bring our personality into it. In every text there is a part of ourselves, a part of our soul.
This makes us vulnerable. We put our heart and soul into our articles and every criticism of our text is a needle prick in the heart.
We take it personally, but we also give personally.
So if a reader doesn't like your personality, you don't have to be ashamed of it. They're just the wrong reader. They're just not part of your target group. Your target group are people who not only love your content, but also your personality. When blogging, the author merges with his texts; you can't separate them.

No, definitely not.
I learn every day. Not to become a bad copy of Stephen King or Tim Ferriss, but to be a better version of myself.
I improve my style - I don't change it, because I'm not ashamed of my style. I consciously accept that not everyone likes me. And I don't want that. I want to please the right people.
So you shouldn't be ashamed of your style and your writing voice. Improve it, but don't deny it - it's a part of you. As soon as you move away from your heart, you write like a fish out of water.
