Example scenes are available in the LeapMotion and LeapMotionModules folders, so you can try out some of the more interesting ones. I describe a few below:

Leap_Hands_Demo_VR. You can find this demo under LeapMotion/Scenes. The scene shows a basic VR environment using Oculus and Leap Motion to display the user's hands. The feeling of immersion, even with a grey background, is incredible. You can also see the precision of tracking and registration, i.e. the match between the virtual image and our sense of where our hands are (see figure 2).

Figure 2. Hand registration demo.

ExampleUIScene. This scene is located inside the LeapMotionModules UIInput ukraine consumer email list Scenes folder and contains examples of 2D user interfaces inserted into a VR environment. The interaction is really fluid and the example buttons (click, toggle and slider type) react very well.

To integrate Leap Motion into a scene, you need to create some objects from the Leap Motion prefabs folder. These objects contain a camera configured to be the VR viewpoint and controlled by the Oculus headset. Objects representing the right and left hands are also available.

The scene used for this tutorial is very basic, a couple of animated cubes moving relatively (see figure 5).
