If you are a recent graduate

If you just graduated this summer and you still don't have experience in a real project or company, get going now! And get to master at least the basics of your favorite technologies. Being self-taught is the quality most appreciated by technology companies.

My most valuable advice is: join your local programming community. If there isn't one yet, what are you waiting for to start one? To start a community, I believe, you need these two things: the desire to share your knowledge with #LaBanda, and the willingness to invest your time. If you can't actively and voluntarily be part of a community due to your school and work schedule, at least attend the monthly events that volunteers from your local community organize. Most of these events are hosted by the IT companies in your region algeria consumer email list and are promoted through the meetup.com platform. Join now! Attending these meetups will fill you with knowledge from the actors who participate as speakers, who often live in the city; and will put to the test the opportunity to develop your social skills in an informal and relaxed environment. It's like presenting your resume but live and without filters.

In conclusion, I dare say that the so-called “social skills” are something that companies pay a lot of attention to. From joining a development project among your colleagues, or joining the local dev community, to creating your profile on LinkedIn or Github, all these jobs have a social basis; the difference is that one is live and the other is online.
