Replace “car.jpg” with the file name of your image

To verify that our OpenCV installation is working properly, let's make a small program. Create a folder on your computer where you put an image file, and create a python program with the code shown in listing 1.

(remember to include the path in case your image is in a different image file in your program).
If all is well, when you run your program a window will appear with your armenia consumer email list image, as shown in Figure 1.

With all this installed you can start experimenting with image recognition. Obviously you will need more than this but the goal of the article is to get you started with the minimum configuration necessary to get started. Good luck with your projects.
