Location and language of the newsletter provider
Not everyone had English at school and even those who had English lessons for many years may have forgotten much of it since then. Therefore, the language in which the user interface, and especially the help pages, are available can be an important selection criterion.

I speak fluent English and can get by reasonably well in Spanish, but (unfortunately) I can't speak French at all. That's why, after a short and intense love affair in 2016 with the newsletter provider SendinBlue (then from France, now part of Brevo), I had to admit that it just wasn't the right provider for me.

Although the help pages were brazil telegram screening partly available in German (but mostly in English), the screenshots were still in French and I really struggled to understand what I was supposed to do. It would have been possible to translate everything using Google Translate, but it took too long.

So I understand very well when someone "confesses" that they are not on good terms with English.

Is there a German user interface? Are the individual menu items and instructions plausible and understandable?
Are there help pages in German (or a language you understand well)?
Is there German-language support or support in a language that you can switch to if necessary?
Newsletter providers and the GDPR
With the GDPR coming into force in May 2018, it became important to pay attention to what happens to your subscribers' data. Personal data may not simply be stored on servers in third countries (i.e. countries outside the EU ).
