How do you use “ /describe ” correctly? Log in and select a Midjourney Discord channel. Then enter the command and upload the desired image. Confirm your entry. Midjourney will then offer you various prompts. This contains a description of the image as well as information about the artist, the style, the focal length and the image format.

These details will help you improve your own prompts for Midjourney, because you can individually select and adjust each suggestion that the AI image generator makes before generating an image. This gives you many different options for using “ /describe ”.

Parameters for Midjourney at a glance
Midjourney already uses a number of default values for the spain number dataset parameters mentioned - these run in the background. You can also change these in the default settings. This way you don't have to enter them again and again. You adjust the settings by activating or deactivating various options in the Midjourney settings. The advantage: You can also overwrite these values with your prompt at any time.

The following parameters are components that you can add to your prompt to achieve a better result:

–aspect or –ar – Specify the aspect ratio in which your image should be generated.
–chaos XX – This allows you to increase the level of abstraction with which Midjourney should work. Replace “XX” with a number from 0 to 100.
Image URL + –iw <number> – Set the weight of the image.
::X – Set the weight of the components of your prompt. Use “X” to determine the weighting.
–hd – This is an older algorithm that can give you better results.
–no – Use this parameter to exclude certain elements from text input.
–quality 0.25 or –q 0.25 – The image AI gives you rough results. Generation is four times faster and cheaper.
–quality 0.5 or –q 0.5 – You get less detail, but image creation is twice as fast and also less expensive.
–quality 1 or –q 1 – This is the default value that Midjourney uses for quality.
–quality 2 or –q 2 – You get more image details. However, the process is twice as slow and just as expensive.
–seed – This sets the seed.
–sameseed – This parameter means that a parameter affects all images to be generated equally.
–stop – This stops the creation process.
–video – Save the progress as a time-lapse video.
