You can track changes in positions, progress, gaps in rankings, etc. by periodically updating these rankings. This also allows you to view rankings for all the ways you've categorized your keywords to see if your positions are strong or weak within a given topic or category.

For example, filtering this list by "HDMI" shows that the website ranks for many of the top HDMI terms, but of them.

While filtering the list for "Ethernet" cables shows that the site is not in the top 100 for many of the top terms. That suggests that the website may need more SEO, more content, more links, etc. for the "ethernet" terms than for the "HDMI" topic.
