How familiar applications have changed with the war and what new ones have appeared

Post by batasakas »

Since the beginning of Russia's war against Ukraine, not only has the state gone into martial law, but also some popular apps, including Diya and Kyiv Digital, have enabled new push notifications and added new features.

The number of such applications has been growing over the almost lebanon number data two months of war. We have compiled a list of useful programs that have introduced new features during martial law.

Action

On February 24, Diya disabled some services and documents to protect basic registers. But within a few weeks, ID cards and biometric passports were returned to the application, and later, driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates. Ukrainians can also use the Diya portal again to make changes or close individual entrepreneurs.

In the first days of the war, the application launched the Army Assistance function. The Ministry of Digital Affairs regularly reports on the funds collected - so far, Ukrainians have already sent 270 million UAH, which went to the "Return Alive" fund, which provides our soldiers with everything they need.

Several more new features will be useful to those who suffered during the war:

Obtain internally displaced person status and financial assistance. Currently, the service is available to Ukrainians who receive IDP status for the first time, but the Ministry of Digital Affairs is working to make it available to all other displaced persons in the near future.
You can now submit a report about damaged property on the portal and in the Diya application. This is the first step to assess the actual damage and start compensation. To fill out the report, you need to provide information about the object, date, and photo or video of the damage. This service is also available to ASN employees and notaries, who can fill out and submit reports on behalf of Ukrainians or their representatives.
Play eBayraktar. This is a mobile game that allows you to try yourself as a Bayraktar drone operator. For each tank shot down, the player receives points. All players enter the leaderboard.
Also, if the broadcast of Ukrainian channels has been turned off in your region, you can watch online television in Action.
