Conference/Workshop: Digital marketing in action! | Week i | TEC Guadalajara

During i Week , students exchange classes for lectures and workshops to learn about the professional scene from experts in their field. On this occasion, students of Marketing and dj email database list Communication Sciences from the Tecnológico de Monterrey attended the lecture/workshop given by our director Francisco Anguiano and the team's sales manager, Paola Hernández .
As a prelude to the workshop, Francisco Anguiano presented a lecture on digital marketing in which he used the international cosmetics chain Sephora as an example . The objective was to get the students to recognize the importance of digital tools such as landing pages, blogs and social networks to grow the brand, generate positioning and increase sales.
The students then put all their digital marketing knowledge into practice in the Google AdWords workshop given by Paola Hernández . For our sales manager, the objective of this workshop is clear: “It is about teaching them that there are other advertising media besides the traditional ones and that they consider digital media as part of their strategy.”
Students created a table with Sephora 's product categories using the keyword planner and search trends. By using these two AdWords tools , they can find out if the words they are going to use in the ad are searched and generate clicks according to the campaign's PPC.
