Advantages:

You can get more traffic from such gmx email list pages because search engines highlight such documents in their search results.

Flaws:

The visitor never gets to the site itself, since the page is located on the search engine's server. For example, a typical Yandex turbo page has a URL likehttps://yandex.ru/turbo?text=URL-of-document-from-source-site.

A site adapted for mobile devices is actually only accessible to those visitors who came from the mobile search results of Yandex or another search engine.

There are some problems caused by ranking factors.

How Yandex mobile search differs from the desktop PC version
Search engines care about their users and do everything to help them find quality content that is correctly displayed on the screens of any devices. Therefore, the results of, for example, Yandex for mobile devices and regular PCs may differ, even if the request was the same. Mobile results primarily accumulate mobile friendly sites, they occupy higher positions in the top.

A site without a separate mobile version, not adapted for portable devices, can lose its positions and all mobile traffic. Why should you be afraid of this?

Positions mean a lot: as a rule, the first site in the list gets the lion's share of visitors, which is confirmed by moz.com tests. And in desktop versions, the user has to scroll through numerous contextual advertising ads, which takes 87% more time. Obviously, everyone is too lazy to scroll.

On mobile, only 7.4% of visitors click on positions lower than fourth (for PC this figure is much higher - 16%).

The loss of every position in the mobile search results of Yandex and Google is a good reason to seriously start reworking the site and adapting it to portable devices.

How Yandex Works with Mobile Search Results
The convenience of viewing a page from a phone screen is assessed by Yandex based on two factors:

No horizontal scrolling. Scrolling in two directions at once is extremely inconvenient.

Correct display and functionality of all elements in the most common mobile browsers, such as Chrome, Safari, etc. For example, flash videos do not meet this criterion and refuse to work in many modern applications.

Why mobile search is important for modern business
Mobile traffic today accounts for up to 70–80% of all traffic. However, in some niches it is still very low: up to 10–20%. But users around the world are gradually switching to mobile gadgets, and this even concerns the B2B segment.

Google has a higher percentage of mobile users, since a significant portion of smartphones run on Android OS with a browser installed by default. On this matter, Google was even sued by the Russian Yandex and demanded that the ban on installing Yandex Browser by default be lifted from device manufacturers. The court satisfied Yandex's demands, the company began to negotiate with device manufacturers, and today there are already devices on sale with pre-installed Yandex search.

In terms of conversion of applications, users of large PCs and laptops are currently in the lead, but it is unknown how long this situation will last. Today, the most attractive audience for sellers is on desktop devices. However, in niches with quick decision-making about purchases and cheap goods, mobile users prevail: their conversion is higher.

Everything is determined by a specific situation, and website owners only have to collect statistics, analyze it, draw conclusions and improve their web resource in accordance with them. Advertising based on accurate data and logical forecasts is definitely more effective and profitable than working on the principle of "shooting in the dark."
