Welcome back to my blog.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of new regulations aimed at giving European Union (EU) citizens greater control over their personal data and information.

This is why it is essential and mandatory for all australia whatsapp number database websites and e-commerce to be GDPR compliant.

In reality, all businesses, both physical and online, have been required to comply with the GDPR and protect their customers' personal data for a few years now, but above all, they have the obligation to comply with the new provisions of the Privacy Guarantor from 9 January 2022 .

What is GDPR
While in a physical business, most of the time, you have to sign a sheet with the acceptance of the storage of personal data, when it comes to online things become increasingly difficult, because the data that must be stored are many and the storage of them varies from site to site and from the use that the owner of the site itself makes of the individual personal data.

An example of personal data? The customer's name and surname, email, telephone number and address are just some of the data we have to manage, not to mention data tracking programs for profiling purposes such as Google Analytics.

In other words, every time a user visits a certain site, he leaves a whole series of personal traces and must be informed in advance about what data can or cannot be recorded.

Clearly the final decision is up to the user who must decide if, how, when and how much personal data to display to the manager or owner of the website or e-commerce.
