Is your office door locked, or do you even work in an open-plan space? It's no wonder you don't get much done during the day. To give yourself some peace and quiet and get some extra time, try learning to work early in the morning - before the typical morning rush starts. Then, perhaps, go to lunch earlier and work while others are having lunch . It's almost certain that they won't be rushing you with work matters during their lunch break.
