I like everything that is geeky about the world of online marketing. We are implementing some of these ideas at Quondos. There are people who think that sometimes we go a little crazy and they are probably right. This last post is a good example of this.

The thing is the following. We are looking for the “ Sexiest Bloggers Alive ” (boy and girl) of 2014. Instead of seeing it as something geeky, I wonder why nobody has thought of it before. But anyway… We have decided to divide this launch into 3 phases to increase the diffusion.

1. Announce that you are looking for the “top bloggers of…”
This is exactly the phase we are in now. What we do is japanese number phone announce that we are going to do something. To do this we need the support of readers so that it is not just the taste of the post's author that influences it.
Facebook and Twitter are good channels : social networks are very useful for spreading this kind of “fun”. Almost all of us have a bit of a diverblogger in us, so not everything we do always has to make sense.
Nominating candidates via comments : there is no need to complicate things. Candidates can be submitted directly via the comment field. Self-nominations should not be prohibited in order to increase participation.
Linking from other posts : This post is a good example of what I mean. I have looked for an excuse to be able to link the post on the Quondos blog from here. Making references from other blogs, for example as a guest author, increases the diffusion.
Get subscribers – This is a good excuse for a call to action. “If you want to know if you have been chosen or who the winners are, don’t forget to subscribe or something like that.
