Development is stricter and slower

Post by sujonkumar6300 »

There are many reasons to believe that blockchain will become an important infrastructure component used in a variety of industries beyond financial services and cryptocurrencies. That being said, we must remember that not everything is technical problems, and not even all technical problems are solved by blockchain.Using blockchain certainly has its benefits. Having an immutable log that cannot be controlled by anyone in particular can be useful in certain cases. However, using blockchain also has its costs and drawbacks. Let’s review some of these…

Creating and maintaining a system that can be continuously proven consistent is no easy task. A small bug could corrupt the entire database or cause differences between nodes. Of course, a corrupted or broken database loses its albania consumer email list consistency guarantees. Blockchain-based systems must be designed to be consistent from the start. “Let’s move fast and break things” is not an option when using blockchain; if you break things, you lose consistency and your database becomes useless.

You might be wondering why we can't just fix the database or scrap it and start over. That would be easy in a centralized system, but it's very difficult in a decentralized one; changing the database requires consensus between all participants in the system. A blockchain should not be under the control of a single entity; if we do that, we're just creating a centralized database that will be expensive and slow.
